Andy has a passion for developing people at all levels and helping them fulfil their potential.
A strong believer that development is more effective if it is fun, his interactive and flexible style is characterised by the use of humour coupled with a hard business edge, and an emphasis on the practical application of skills whether at first line manager or executive board level. A respected facilitator and coach, his specialist areas include team development, performance management, effective leadership, talent development, psychometric assessment, staff engagement and organisational development strategy. He has designed and facilitated leadership development solutions for clients all over the world and in a variety of different industries. His scientific background and forensic approach enables him to ask the right questions to stimulate insight and ensure the development really achieves the required outcome.
Andy has 30 years’ experience in training and development, including 10 years at senior management level in the Forensic Science Service (Home Office), where he was Head of Learning & Development, and 2 years in a similar role in the NHS. He is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, holds a Diploma in Training Management and is qualified in a wide range of psychometric instruments. He has been a consultant since 2008.
