Andy has been a consultant for 10 years working with clients worldwide across a range of sectors. This followed a 20-year career in the UK Forensic Science Service, initially as a General Chemist and later HR Manager and Head of Learning & Development.
His pragmatic approach combines insightful questioning and a use of humour to surface and enable discussion of potentially difficult issues. He has a strong belief that development is more effective if it is fun but needs to be combined with genuine moments of realisation to achieve practical, personal and business benefits. His facilitation style is highly interactive and supports both collective and individual needs. Specialist areas include performance management, engagement, team development and HR/OD consultancy.
Andy loves to travel and experience different cultures, dragging his colleagues around art galleries, and also enjoys watercolour painting.
